The short version
This site doesn’t track you. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, and nothing about you is sold or shared. The only personal information collected anywhere here is an email address — and only if you choose to hand it over to get letters from Ruth.
The email list
The signup form on this site is run by Kit, our email provider. If you subscribe, Kit stores your email address so we can send you new-book news, first chapters, and the occasional note. That’s the whole use. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and every letter carries an unsubscribe link that works with one click. You can also write to [email protected] and ask to be removed, and it will be done.
Counting visits
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits — how many people came, roughly where from, and which pages they read. It works without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. We see counts, not people.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Two honest exceptions:
The Kit signup form may use cookies or similar browser storage to run the form and remember that you’ve already subscribed or closed it. And if you click a book link to Amazon, Amazon’s site uses its own cookies under Amazon’s privacy notice once you’re there.
Book links
As an Amazon Associate, Shukeeper Publishing earns from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this site carry an affiliate tag so purchases made through them can be credited. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
Your choices
Your email address is yours. Ask at any time what we hold (it will only ever be the address you subscribed with), ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted outright — write to [email protected] and it will be taken care of and confirmed.
